For Profit or For Pleasure

Forest and Wildlife Management for People who Love the Woods

Southeast Forestry and Wildlife, LLC

"Unless we practice conservation, those who come after us will have to pay the price of misery, degradation, and failure for the progress and prosperity of our day"

~ Gifford Pinchot, One of the Founding Fathers of Forestry in America

Sound management of any natural resource requires a balance of use and protection, a concept that our founding fathers considered "conservation" or "wise use."  In fact, Pinchot considered it basic, common sense.

All Americans depend on wood products daily, yet many of us also value natural places and the native plants and animals that thrive in them.  So, it makes no more sense to reject all timber harvesting than it does to object to clean water, wildlife habitat, or wildflowers.  It may be impossible to maximize profits from timber management and allow nature to flourish, but with careful management, landowners can use their woodlands, even harvest timber, and still enjoy the great bounty of nature.  Southeast Forestry and Wildlife, LLC is committed to helping landowners maintain this balance.  - Hugh Bullock, Owner
